Jose Mourinho has avoided giving clear information about Paulo Dybala’s future at Roma with the Argentine player linked to a potential transfer to Chelsea this summer.
Dybala sparked speculation about a potential move to Chelsea when he was seen at Silverstone. He took a picture with Max Verstappen after the Red Bull driver secured pole position in the British Grand Prix qualifying.
Dybala’s recent outings, including a visit to Wimbledon, have led Chelsea fans on social media to speculate whether he may have been engaged in transfer discussions while in England.
Dybala played a crucial role for Mourinho’s team last season, as Roma achieved a sixth-place finish in Serie A and reached the final of the Europa League, where they were defeated by Sevilla.
Mourinho asserts that he is unaware of any clause that could result in him losing Dybala before the commencement of the upcoming season.
When questioned about the clause in Dybala’s contract amid Chelsea’s interest, Mourinho informed reporters upon his arrival at Rome airport on Saturday, stating, “I don’t know anything about his contract.
“But obviously I talk to Paulo like I do with all of my players.”
