Well – according to Gazzetta dello Sport – Giuntoli recently flew to London for talks with Chelsea about the Serbia international. The Italian news outlet added that Chelsea are serious about signing Vlahovic, and there have been frequent discussions about a deal throughout the summer. Now, Juventus have made their stance on the 23-year-old clear. As quoted by Fabrizio Romano, Giuntoli said:
“Vlahovic? It’s not a secret that we have to clarify our balance/accounts, so we have to consider huge proposals. It’s important to clarify that we trust Dusan and he’s part of our project.”
Effectively, Chelsea have now been told by Juventus that the Serbian striker is up for sale, and will be sold if a significant bid arrives. Vlahovic scored 14 goals in 42 appearances last season, and is said to be valued at £60m in the aforementioned story by Gazzetta dello Sport.
