Levi Colwill and Moises Caicedo admission made as England striker eyed

Levi Colwill and Moises Caicedo deal

Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi has responded to claims over a move for Chelsea star Levi Colwill this summer, with Moises Caicedo potentially moving the other way. The former spent the past season on loan with the Seagulls, while the latter is subject of interest from the Blues. When asked on Colwill, De Zerbi told the press:

"I don't like speaking about other players. I speak about Caicedo [as he] is our player, my player but Levi it is not my work, it is not my feeling. I am happy, I am proud about Levi, he showed his quality in competition with the national time and I am happy for him. I love him but it's not our player...

"Moises started to work with me two days ago, he is not ready yet. You have to ask Colwill wants to come in Brighton or not because you ask only about Caicedo. Does he want to come? I don't know, but there are two questions. If we are closing Igor it's because we have to be ready in case Colwill stays in Chelsea."

When asked if keeping Caicedo and landing Colwill was possible, he added:

"I don't know, I would like to play with Colwill and Caicedo together but at the moment I can only speak about Caicedo. Colwill is not one of my players."

Ollie Watkins interest

Chelsea are interested in a move for Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins this summer, according to a report from journalist Simon Phillips . The Blues are looking to bolster their forward ranks, having already landed Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson in the window, but another centre-forward is on the agenda, with the England international joining the shortlist.

Callum Hudson-Odoi move

Plenty of teams have been linked with a move for Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer, with teams from the Premier League and further afield interested. However, according to Alfredo Pedullà , Serie A side Lazio are the latest to join the race for the winger.
