Inter confirm Lukaku stance
Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has confirmed that the club are hoping to sign Romelu Lukaku this summer. The 30-year-old strikers faces an increasingly uncertain future at Chelsea following the expiration of his loan at the San Siro. As quoted by 90min , Ausilio said:
"Lukaku is one of our important objectives. The whole sporting department wants him at Inter. But for now he’s a Chelsea player. The dialogue remains open. They don’t want to send the player on loan.
"They said we must buy him. So we are now evaluating whether there is a possibility to sign him outright. I don’t like talking about priorities. Lukaku knows very well that we want to bring him back here. Let’s see if we can find a solution."
Felix pushed closer to Atletico exit
Atletico Madrid have stripped Joao Felix of the No.7 shirt and given it to Antoine Griezmann. The 23-year-old forward was heavily linked with a return to Chelsea on a permanent basis earlier this summer until Mauricio Pochettino was appointed and redrafted the Blues' transfer plan.
The Portuguese star had worn that shirt since joining the club in 2019 for a record-breaking fee. But, prior to his arrival in the Spanish capital, Griezmann previously donned the No.7, winning the Europa League, UEFA Super Cup and the Supercopa de Espana while doing so.
Felix featured 16 times for the west Londoners in the Premier
League last season, directly contributing to just four goals.
The Portugal international displayed flashes of brilliance, but
he struggled to find his feet at a disjointed club.
Dybala contract talks
Chelsea have been dealt a huge blow to their hopes of signing Paulo Dybala this summer. The 29-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge recently as Mauricio Pochettino looks to further bolster his attacking options. According to Calciomercato, Dybala is willing to snub interest from the Premier League and pen a new deal at Roma.
The report states that the Italian outfit are planning to significantly increase his base salary to €6million (£5.1million) per season, with €2million (£1.7million) in add-ons. It's said that Roma would also like to remove his release clause, which is €12milllion (£10.3million) for foreign clubs and €20million (£17million) for Italian sides.
Calciomercato add that the Giallorossi owner, Dan Friedkin, would be happy to offer Dybala an extension after shirts with his name and number on have already sold out.
